Hooray for the Lake of the Ozarks. I’ve been to Big Dick’s several times. The minnow shot is a shot with a live minnow in it, you swallow it whole.

I’m from the lake… but it’s only been Big Dick’s for sometime now… they had to lose the “Halfway Inn” or the state was going to take away the liquor license.

It’s a shot of lemonade (or something, I don’t remember) with a live minnow in it and you’re supposed to drink it, minnow and all.
The minnow shot is when you take a shot of something with a live minnow in it, and swallow the thing whole. Gross, right?
I’d actually come up with several other interpretations, but they were equally gross, possibly illegal and/or anatomically impossible.
I actually have a friend that has a lake house near this place. The “minnow shot” is where they put a minnow in a glass and you swallow it like a shot.
Though a “minnow shot” could be something more interesting…
My high school class went there on senior trip. It’s actually a pretty decent restaurant. It’s somewhere near Lake of the Ozarks.
Oh my gosh, I know this place! It’s in Texas, near the San Antonio area (I think). The restaurant is supposed to be really good, and on an offhand note, a friend of mine got a t-shirt there. It had an attractive teenage girl holding a chicken next to an old man, with the man saying, “Hey, why don’t you come over here and stroke my cock?” FTW

Something tells me the double entendre in the title was intentional.

It is on a end of school year trip to the lake a bunch of the guys I was riding with had to take pictures of that sign. They think it’s funny and it acts as a tourist attraction for the tourists amongst a bunch of hicks, albeit sometimes kindhearted. (Too close to Arkansas; they have invaded. I think we can hold Iowa off though.)

There’s a place in Alaska, 1/2 way between Anchorage and Fairbanks, called Skinny Dick’s Halfway Inn. Their logo is 2 polar bears going at it, an above the door, it says “Liquor in the front, Poker in the rear!” I think it’s incredibly funny, personally!
I looove Skinny Dicks!! I think their men’s brief halter top is a riot!!

This place is at the Lake of the Ozarks and I’ve been there before. A minnow shot is a shot with a minnow in it. I would recommend this place to anybody =)
I had my first minnow shot (with Dr. Pepper) when i went to the lake of the ozarks with my uncle. when i was 8. i didnt know what it was until the waitress set it in front of me. eww!

Reminds me of a place about an hour northwest of Reno, NV called The Buck Inn. T-shirts for the place had a pic of a buck mounting a doe with the caption “How far is The Buck Inn?”.
Yeah, “big dick’s” may be funny, but it’s nowhere near as funny as Dirty Dick’s Crab Shack on the east coast. Their slogan is “get your crabs at Dirty Dick’s Crab Shack.”

Dude that place is the best, it’s at the lake of the ozarks in Missouri and they thrive off of penis jokes and shooting the minnow is where you put alcohol (or soda for kids) and the put a minnow in it and you drink it, then you get a free tshirt
