Swing and a miss.
This photo is, sadly, lacking in irony.
A submersed sign warning of the risks of drowning isn’t ironic. That’s entirely appropriate. If it warned of the risks of dehydration, that might be considered ironic.
What about a sign of someone ironing?
If it’s oddly ironic why didn’t you put it on Friends of Irony? You guys can’t even keep your own sites straight.
because Friends of Irony is no more… it is now part of failblog.
it’d be more ironic if we see some part of the sign that is more clear it was originally related to drowning…
either way, you’re right.. hard to see how this picture belongs at oddly specific other than the fact that it has a sign…
GIVE US FRIENDS OF IRONY BACK!!!!1! =(
It was a big FAIL merging Friends of Irony to FailBlog
It’d be ironic if the sign was right next to the rescue of one of these people that believe government should be tiny and never tell them where to live or not live…
Stick man is having a bad day….
Could be worse–at least his head is still above the water!
If you see some one drowning,
Not ironic, just coincidental.
Not coincidental, FFS!!!!
This picture should be framed and put in every DOT and sign-erecting office in the country: This is a job well done!
not really, there is no sign warning of submerged objects
It would be ironic if someone died from thirst there.
Deleted scene from “Cast Away” – Tom Hank’s other Island friend: WilsonII
(Yes, they were Fedexing a street sign!)
This is a sign of a man crossing the road, but when it fell in the sea……
WHAA? NO WAE!
OH MAH GAH!!!!!!!!!
I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I see the sign, it makes me think, caution, zombies ahead.
