Good Call

Which do I do first? Do I unpack the box that needs to be unpacked before unpacking or do I pack the unpacked package in the packed packer while unpacking the unpacked? Xzibit, where are you when I need you?

    Friends of Irony.

  2. Loren Pechtel says:

You are supposed to open that box before unpacking the rest of the stuff. Note that the box is not alone–the stretch wrap shows that this is simply part of something substantially larger.

  3. Mr Obvious says:

Even more likely: You are supposed to open that yellow/black *envelope* that’s glued to the box, and read the paper that’s inside, before unpacking.

    Pretty common for bigger deliveries.

  4. Major Ypres says:

or maybe that’s a black-and-yellow envelope containing a packing list that you should open first so you know what’s inside the box.

Geez, it was funny before you all made it so darned logical. Must really be fun at parties.

Thank you for explaining why the picture is funny.

I wish I knew this earlier. I always used to tear into the side of the box, remove all the stuff, then open the top of the box only to find it empty with clearly visible vandalization markings.

  8. Kenny says:

Yo dawg, so I heard you like to unpack…

  9. Laura says:

Clearly you are supposed to open the yellow envelope first.

And no that is not the former ‘president’ Bush, it is Bob Newheart.

Please distort… Well, everything really. Hmm… I love making this joke, but what now?

  12. Ixeye says:

Hmm…lets try opening to box before unpacking the box…

    oh wait,that won’t do…
