Quite honestly, I’d be more afraid of the bus. Then again, I live in Seattle.

When I first glanced at this, I thought the sign meant that the bus was approaching falling rocks.
Sure would be convenient to have road signs to tell when you are in mortal danger though…

  2. Thalia says:

    I live in Seattle too.

  3. bob says:

    i don’t get it

  4. orion says:

On the right, just out of the picture, there are the signs “exploding volcano” and “pack of rabid wildebeest”. And probably even “chuck norris”.

  5. tarakava says:

actually, orion, your joke is closer to the truth than you’d think. the site is an ancient volcano itself, and once i did see chuck norris there. no wildebeest i’m afraid

  6. Seibee says:

Parachuting grapefruit, approaching buses or falling rocks. And if you’re lucky, all at the same time.

  7. A Noun says:

I’ve never been attacked by a giant exclamation point, but have had too many encounters with crazy bus drivers. Too bad there was never a falling rock around that I could use to defend myself.

  8. PERDUCI! says:

Indiana Jones has a hard commute.

  9. orion says:

Actually I’m starting to wonder what’s up with all the paper glued on the bus sign. Any clues?

  10. says:

Do they come and change the sign whenever there isn’t an approaching bus? Or are there just so many buses, it’s always true? Or one very, very slow bus?

    • orion says:

I don’t think the rocks are falling all the time either. Otherwise there would be no road, just rubble.

    • impwarior says:

its a cliff on one side and there is just one bus going back and forth along a twisting coastal cliff road between this sign and a tourist office.

  11. loremasterstl says:

Well gee, then that sign better get out of the way of the bus too!

    …Der de-der….

  12. Lisa says:

    I still don’t get it.

  13. Messmon says:

The bus will stop — and if it doesn’t, just run alongside it and it will stop the rocks! Unless they’re large, then you’re screwed.
