Is there a responsible way to drink and drive?
Yes, there is a responsible way. Designate a sober driver. 🙂
Seriously, though – it’s fun being the one at the party who stays sober while all your friends get totally wasted. You get to tell them what they did the night before.
Friend: Why am I all green?
Me: You did a pole dance on a streetlight in the quad with a “WET PAINT” sign on it.
Agreed, drinking while driving should be done right.
Yes, you only crash into large rocks, or off high cliffs, only injuring/killing yourself…in other words…you qualify for a Darwin award.
This is a golf course?
I think this is from the Polar Bear Plunge in MD this past winter…it snowed and the weather was godawful. But those of us who braved the storm still had a blast to benefit Special Olympics MD! What a good time. What a good, drunk, time…
Well you don’t have to drink alcoholic beverages before driving.
I always do. Last night I very responsibly drove home after 6 beers at 20 miles an hour under the speed limit. Don’t remember what lane I was in, but I was driving carefully, so it doesn’t matter. Wait. Whose house is this? Why is there a hedge in their garage?
It’s not a garage. You’re parked in the greenhouse of a Home Depot in South Eastwestville, Idaho….
I’m fairly certain the point they’re trying to get across is, “Drink responsibly,” (a la every single commercial for alcohol) as well as, “Drive responsibly.”
It’s just worded terribly…
Of course there is a way to drink and drive responsibly.
It’s utter nonsense that nobody can ever drive after having something to drink.
I abhor drunk drivers, but you know there is a legal limit right? You can legally drink and drive, just 0.8 or lower in my state. So 2 beers? OK to drink and drive. More than that… not so much.
Yes, there is a way to drink and drive responsibly – it’s called GOLF.
I drink when I drive – coffee, usually. Sometimes, I get those big 64-oz. cups of soda from 7-11. I had it nested between my legs when someone slammed on their brakes in front of me, forcing me to come to a sudden stop. The drink slipped out and spilled all over the place.
Drinking and driving is hazardous.
yes. that was from the polar bear plunge. it was amazingly awful. i couldn’t feel my feet for hours…
Of course you can drive after drinking. You sure can’t walk.
