Well…I guess I’ll just go somewhere else.
This reminds me of that Far Side cartoon where the boy is pushing on a door that says “Pull” at the Midvale School for the Gifted.
>Well…I guess I’ll just go somewhere else.
Yes, that’s the point. We’re sick of you customers for the day, and we want you to go elsewhere.
We don’t want your sort ’round here.
It’s an entrance from the other side.
Exactly my thoughts
Aha! You figured it out!! (As my son would say, “fun spoiler”…) It is still funny, though…
Entrance Only… the verb. The sign is meant to entrance you!
Clearly this is designed to ward off Auditors.
Confucius say…entrance only accessible to those who do not enter.
Oh, it is the *verb* “entrance”. It means you are allowed to entrance the gate keeper with your awesome skills and powerful physique, but that still won’t get you to enter.
tch… you’re supposed to run around in circles… why do you think dogs chase their tails…
Gah! This sign made me lose the game!
Intended meaning would be better stated as “Entrance Only. Do Not Exit Here.”
So where are we supposed to enter? The exit, maybe?
Exit only, do not exit. So use the exit!
Mesmerists only. (Entrance, not entrance.)
There’s no shortage of signs like this.
