Looks like the silhouette of Megaman X doing a wall kick.
LOL.. no worries, the goose hanging on the edge will catch you by the pants!
I’m pretty curious as to what this sign is actually supposed to mean. Are there any Canadians around who can explain it?
I””m pretty sure it means the cliff is unstable so don””t go out to the edge to look over lest you and the edge of the cliff both take a flying leap you didn””t intend.
I think it””s warning people not to stand right at the edge of the cliff in case the overhang of the cliff breaks and falls with them on it.
It””s most likely a poorly drawn attempt to warn people the cliff edge is crumbly, and not to stand on it or it may collapse…
@Virginia: My guess would be unstable cliff edge (If you go too near the edge, it might break off and carry you with it), of course why stickman would be THERE (not on top of the chunk) whe the chunk has only begun to fall, I haven””t a clue.
YES! I CAN FLY!
“If the edge breaks off, please don””t jump. That makes it technically suicide which oddly enough involves a lot more paperwork.”
Attention: Now entering Thermopylae
Due to erosion, cliffs have become relatively unstable, as other people said. I’ve actually not seen this around (I’m currently in Iles de la Madeleine, it’s my hometown ^^) but it doesn’t come off as a surprise to me.
Sign does look like Megaman though.
Ha, my dad is from there but thankfully, he was saved when his family moved to Ontario when he was 4 years old!
This is SPARTA!
It means ” Warning, no going ”BEHOLD I CAN FLY!!!” and then jumping off the cliff in a skydiving manner…NOW a falling manner is legal.
It looks like a lot of these signs are in Canada. We’re the type of people who would just make up dumb signs and post them wherever and not care. lmao.
The guy fell off the cliff while reading that sign.
Crews recover body from volcano crater Feb. 16, 2010. Washington man fell into dormant Mount St. Helens crater while posing for picture Monday Feb. 15, 2010 when a snow overhang gave way and he fell. “Boom, it busted off and I saw him clawing for the edge with a startled look on his face, and then he disappeared,”
“Attention” actually means “Warning” or “Be careful” in french. And Îles de la Madeleine is a french place.
What I want to know is how they put the sign there, if it is such treacherous ground….
(And yes, before someone corrects me, I’m sure this isn’t actually right at the cliff edge.)
It clearly says : Attention! You may develop sudden urges to fly off of the cliff and kick chunks of of it.
What they don’t show is the red bull stand a few feet away
